Distance Legibility Guide

To simulate how your design will appear at various distances, just use one of our Distance Legibility Guides:

This Guide will help you evaluate the legibility of your copy, the clarity of your illustrations and size of your brand or logo.

Just as in the Hall Test, tape your artwork to a wall. Select the distance you want to check (e.g. 700'), hold the Guide at arms length and move away from the wall until the appropriate aperture frames the design.

To download the appropriate Legibility Guide, make a selection from the list below. (Requires Acrobat Reader software, a printer and an XACTO knife.)
